Warren G. Simonds has been named as vice president and CMO of Willis A. Smith Construction of Sarasota.

Simonds has been with the firm for six years, serving most recently as director of client relations.

He is the immediate past president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services Foundation, a national organization that provides research and educational materials to the architectural, engineering and construction industries.

The firm focuses on educational facilities, museums and performing arts venues.
