Wade Purvis has joined Collier Enterprises (www.collierenterprises.com) as manager of horticultural operations.

Purvis will assist in creating a horticultural business to support the development of the Town of Big Cypress through growing, planting and care of landscape materials.

Purvis has many years of experience in managing agriculture in Collier County.

He began his career working for Collier Enterprises as development supervisor, land rental agent and farm manager for Collier Farms.

Most recently, he was self-employed.

Prior to self-employment, he was the general manager at Pacific Collier and the farm manager at Barron Collier Companies.

Purvis earned a bachelor of science degree in business from Florida Southern College.
