Jim Boback, broker associate, and Chuck Smith, sales associate, both of the Boback Commercial Group, Re/Max Realty Group in Fort Myers, have earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

CCIMs are recognized experts in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Before earning the designation, candidates must complete a curriculum involving extensive course and fieldwork, pass a comprehensive examination, and submit a resume of closed transactions.

Only 6 percent of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.

Boback’s 30-year career has been in sales, marketing, and real estate development.

Smith’s (left) career includes 20 years with Sprint in sales and marketing.

Re/Max Realty Group has eight CCIMs in its commercial division.
