Suzanne Ellin has been named trust officer in Charlotte State Bank’s (www.charlottestatebank.com) Trust and Investment Services division.

Ellin has experience in all aspects of financial and estate planning, including estate plans, wills, trusts, tax planning and probate.

A licensed attorney in Illinois and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Florida, Ellin earned bachelor of science and juris doctor degrees at DePaul University in Chicago. She began her career in Illinois, serving as a CPA at a Northfield company, and then as an assistant vice president and trust officer at a Glenview bank.

Ellin moved to Florida in 2005 and initially worked for an accounting firm in Venice. Before joining Charlotte State Bank, she maintained a private practice in North Venice, providing tax, financial, retirement and estate-planning services for high net-worth individuals and business owners.

Ellin is based at the bank’s Port Charlotte Office, 1000 Tamiami Trail.
