Ossowicz is now qualified as a field verifier
Stacy Ossowicz, vice president of operations of Trifecta Construction Solutions in Fort Myers, has passed the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Green Building Certification Program. The designation qualifies Ossowicz as a field verifier for its national certification program. As an accredited field verifier, Ossowicz was required to demonstrate at least one year of acceptable professional experience in green building practices, complete a training curriculum and pass the accreditation test. The course covers the protocol for verifying that a house meets the national certification requirements and is intended to ensure that all verifiers across the country evaluate homes in a consistent manner. Ossowicz can now assist builders seeking green certification of their homes through a 10-step documentation and inspection process. Once the criteria are met and the home is certified, the builder can market the home as meeting NAHB green building standards. A 12-year industry veteran, Ossowicz works with home builders and developers to incorporate sustainability features into their projects and apply green building principles to their home construction. Trifecta Construction Solutions, founded by Jennifer Languell, offers sustainability and green-building consultation in areas such as research, engineering, construction, verification, education and training to a wide range of businesses wishing to incorporate improved environmental practices into their operations. |
