Partners Bank (www.partnersbank.net) has appointed Luis A. Rodriguez as vice president, Small Business Administration/commercial lending.

He is responsible for the origination of SBA and commercial loans as well as new business development.

“Luis brings a great deal of financial industry experience to our team,” said John G. Wolf, Chairman of Partners. “He will be instrumental as we expand our small business lending services for our customers.”

Rodriguez has more than 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners, he served as Credit Officer for Shamrock Bank of Florida. Before that, he was a Commercial Credit Officer with Liberty Bank.

Rodriguez also previously worked for Morgan Stanley, Bank of Florida and the former SouthTrust Bank, now known as Wachovia Bank.
