John Pollock president of Oswald Trippe and Co. Inc., has been recognized for professional leadership and advanced knowledge by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, a national insurance professional organization.

Pollock was awarded a certificate marking more than 15 years of participation as a designated the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), which requires annual completion of advanced education and training.

He was one of the youngest agents in the United States to earn the CICounselor designation in 1993.
