Broker associate Jim Boback and commercial advisor Chuck Smith of the Boback Commercial Group, Re/Max Realty Group in Fort Myers, have earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

CCIM’s are recognized experts in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Before earning the designation, candidates must complete a curriculum involving extensive course and field work, pass a comprehensive examination, and submit a resume of closed transactions.

Only 6 percent of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.

Boback’s career over the last 30 years has been in sales, marketing, and real estate development.

Before becoming a real estate professional who specializes in commercial sales and leasing, Smith’s career included 20 successful years with Sprint in sales and marketing.
