The International Real Estate Federation accepts the Pelican Bay Development executive as a member

James Nashman, president/chief executive officer of Pelican Bay Development in Bonita Springs, has been accepted as a member of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI).

The organization, with a select membership of more than 5,000 commercial real estate executives, was founded in Paris in 1949.

“FIABCI links professionals in the real estate industry in a multilingual, multicultural, multidisciplinary network conducting business in countries around the world,” Nashman said.

FIABCI is the only international real estate organization with representation in the Untied Nations: FIABCI’s “Special Consultative Status” at the U.N.’s Economic and Social Council is reserved for international organizations recognized by the U.N. Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations as having a special competence in their fields.

Nashman has been active in international transactions for two years in the Caribbean and Central America. Pelican Bay Development is active in retail, mixed-use, hospitality, resort and casino, timeshare and condominium development throughout Florida, the Southeast, and in Costa Rica and Panama.
