Melissa G. Dovey has joined Downing-Frye Realty Inc. as a new sales associate.

She specializes in new home construction and rentals.

Originally from McConnellsburg, Penn., Dovey has been involved in real estate sales in Florida for over five years.

Prior to entering real estate, Dovey worked in networking and IT support for the Tom James Company. Before that, she was in business management and administration.

Dovey attended Penn State University, studying in the fields of computer networking, computer hardware and software repair.

In addition to holding her realtor’s license, she has earned the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) real estate designation.
