Gregory Allowe has been named managing director for Naples Bay Resort (www.naplesbayresort.com), a luxury property that opened earlier this year in Naples.

Allowe previously served as president of GAP Hospitality Consulting, where he was responsible for opening an independent luxury resort located in Breckenridge, Colo.

Allowe has served as vice president and managing director for The Townsend, a Preferred Hotel located in Birmingham, Michigan, and as general manager for the Nordic Hills Resort, located in Itasca, Illinois.

Earlier in his career, Greg Allowe spent 10 years with Hyatt Hotels, serving as director of operations for the company’s property in Schaumburg, Ill.
