Ken Plonski, formerly vice president of public relations and brand management at WCI Communities in Bonita Springs, has launched his own public relations consulting practice.
The two worked together at the Del Webb Corporation in Phoenix, which pioneered the active adult community business with its Sun City communities. Del Webb is now a part of Pulte Homes. Master Planned Communications services are tailored to the homebuilding and development industries, said Plonski. “We can draw upon more than 50 years of combined real estate experience to create public relations strategies that support our clients’ business objectives,” he said. The company will provide services to builders and developers in the entitlement, sales, close-out and turnover phases of their projects. While the new company will focus primarily upon the real estate industry, the partners’ public relations experience transfers to a wide range of businesses and industries, Plonski said. “The basic principles of media and community relations, issues management, crisis communications and event planning can be applied to any business or organization that seeks to strengthen its relationships with its customers and key stakeholders,” Plonski said. |
