He is director of utilities for the company’s Big Cypress Special District

Collier Enterprises (www.collierenterprises.com) has named David Schlobohm as director of utilities for the company’s Big Cypress Special District.

Schlobohm will manage the design, construction and operations of the water utility for Big Cypress.

Schlobohm has a strong background in utilities engineering, operations and management.

Before joining Collier Enterprises, he worked as the director of utilities for Charlotte County, client service manager for LBFH Inc. and senior vice president and chief operating officer for ITT – Palm Coast Utility Corporation.

Schlobohm earned a bachelor of science degree with specialization in engineering and biology from the University of the State of New York. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree and a master of science degree from Florida State University with specializations in environmental science and resource management, respectively.
