Stevens Construction Inc. (www.stevensconstructioninc.com) has started the catheterization lab addition at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills located at 7050 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills.

Renovations will be completed while the facility remains in operation and include the removal of second-floor office space and the installation of cath lab three.

Stevens Construction is also adding support facilities such as a control room, a computer equipment room and an administrative office. The project is slated for completion in early 2009.

This project will be inspected and licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), which ensures regulatory compliance for health care facilities throughout Florida.

Christopher Cooke of Stevens Construction is the project manager, Pete Garcia is the superintendent, and Lizette Martin is the project administrator. Lyn Pollock of Burt Hill/Pollock Kreig Architects, Inc. is the architect.
