Lennar Homes and locally based New Code Windows and Doors will provide financial support for the organization

Herocare (www.herocare.org) has added two new corporate sponsors – national homebuilder Lennar and locally based New Code Windows and Doors.

Fort Myers-based Herocare is nonprofit organization designed specifically to benefit public servants.

Corporate sponsors are made up of companies that make a formal commitment to support Herocare financially and as an affiliate. Additionally, both companies will offer discounted services to public servants.

“Our mission is to remove barriers and open doors for those that do so much for us,” said Lane Houk, CEO and executive director of the organization. “With the help of Lennar and New Code Windows and Doors, Herocare is able to assist even more heroes in our community. These are two outstanding companies and we are grateful for their support.”

Public servants are defined as retired or active military personnel; school system employees, including private schools and colleges; nurses and other medical employees; emergency staff such as police officers, firefighters and paramedics; and government workers.

Herocare was designed to assist both retired and active public servants in various fields to help them achieve their dream of home ownership and financial stability.
