The program includes discussion of hometown democracy

Building professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 are invited to learn more about hometown democracy at a Lee Building Industry Association meeting of its Young Professionals Council.

Michael Caputo of Floridians for Smarter Growth is the speaker at the program, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Royal Palm Yacht Club, 2360 W. First St., in Fort Myers.

The cost is $25 Lee BIA members and $30 for nonmembers.
