Grapevine Communications International Inc., a Lakewood Ranch-based marketing firm, was named as a finalist in the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Sarasota County “Hall of Fame Awards” in the Service Company of the Year category.

The winners of the “Hall of Fame Awards” will be announced Sept. 28 at an awards luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota.

In addition, the agency's president, Angela Massaro-Fain, has been selected as a finalist in the Tampa Bay Business Journal's “2008 Business Woman of the Year Awards.”

The winners will be announced Aug. 15 at a black-tie awards dinner at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
