Gora/McGahey to provide consulting services for fire district PDF Print E-mail
November 27, 2007
The architectural firm is contracted to work with the district for five years

Gora/McGahey Associates in Architecture (www.gora-mcgahey.com) has been selected as architectural consultant to the Lehigh Acres Fire Control District.

Dan McGahey, principal in the firm, says the Lehigh Acres Fire District has placed the architectural firm on a continuing contract for a period of five years.

“The Lehigh Acres Fire Control District has experienced significant growth over the past few years,” McGahey said. “On Nov. 13, the fire district opened its first new fire station in nearly 20 years and, as this community continues to grow, there will be a pressing need for additional stations to ensure adequate protection for the population. As a result, they have a need for ongoing consulting services to assist them through the process.”

Gora/McGahey was selected because of its experience working with area fire districts.

McGahey and project manager Noel Hernandez will lead the Gora/McGahey team to meet the district’s various programming, design and permit document needs over the term of the contract.
