He acquiring Marvin Kaplan's equity stake in the firm

Chad Roffers, president of Sarasota-based SKY Sotheby's International Realty, has increased his ownership stake in the company by acquiring Marvin Kaplan's equity stake in the firm.

With the transition in equity partnership, Roffers remains the company's majority owner and will continue in his role as president, overseeing business operations in Florida and Minnesota.

Earlier in the year, Roffers also acquired the ownership share of company co-founder Brandyn Herbold. SKY Sotheby's (www.skysothebysrealty.com) completed $600 million in transactions in 2007.
