A variety of new projects from remodels and renovations to new shopping plazas and community gatehouses have been awarded to Boran Craig Barber Engel Construction Co. Inc. (www.bcbe.com) (BCBE).

Some of the projects are underway.

They are:

· Harbourside Tennis Facility at Longboat Key Club and Resort will have BCBE create 20 Har-Tru tennis courts plus a 7,500-square-foot clubhouse with a pro shop, spectator area and a café.

· Naples United Church of Christ will undergo a remodel and new construction to update the interiors and provide more classrooms, meeting areas and a new kitchen, as well as a concert hall. When complete in February, the church will have grown by 30,000 square feet.

· Naples’ 35-year-old Wilderness Clubhouse will be brought up to today’s standards, making it ADA compliant, and adding an outdoor patio to expand the clubhouse to nearly 6,000 square feet.

· El Pueblito, a 16,000 square-foot mall on Ortiz Avenue in Fort Myers near the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. Construction is expected to start in August 2008.

· Naples Community Development Building houses the city’s permitting department. BCBE will give the interior a facelift and restore the structure to current building standards.

· Wilshire Lakes Gatehouse is getting an entrance makeover from BCBE, demolishing the existing structure and erecting a two-story gatehouse with stone, glass, and trellis work as design elements.

· Florida Cancer Specialists has a facility at the Naples Community Hospital South campus. BCBE will be completely renovating this 16,000 square foot facility to accommodate the growing medical staff and new technology.
