Walgreen Co. has paid $1.85 million for two Sarasota County properties, according to the property appraiser’s office.

One is a .51-acre lot at 108 Lakeview Drive, and the other is a .94-acre parcel, with a 1,650 square-foot building, at 1140 N. Tamiami Trail.

The sellers were Richard and Janet Shalkop.
