A Sanibel Island restaurant building has sold for $1.6 million, according to the Lee County Property Appraiser’s office.

The 3,872 square-foot structure, which is on 1.2 acres, is at 1625 Periwinkle Way.

The buyer was 1625 Periwinkle Way LLC of Gross Pointe, Mich.

The sellers were Martino and Carlo Rao.
