WilsonMiller's Rebecca King receives the P.E. designation

Wilson Miller (www.wilsonmiller.com) project designer Rebecca R. King recently received her professional engineer (P.E.) license from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.

Having completed the state’s four-stage licensing process, which involves education and training, industry experience and testing, she joins 12 engineers in WilsonMiller’s Naples office who are licensed to carry the Florida P.E. designation, as well as 54 Professional Engineers from the firm’s other 10 locations statewide.

King is a member of WilsonMiller’s Development Design Business Unit, which provides private sector clients with site design and engineering solutions for mixed-use, multi-unit residential, commercial, industrial, recreational, and other developments. Her responsibilities have included water utilities master planning, design, permitting, and plan preparation for projects such as Mediterra, the Town of Ave Maria, and Ave Maria University.

In September of 2007, King was named Young Engineer of the Year by the Florida Engineering Society’s Calusa Chapter, which has more than 300 members based in Collier, Lee, Hendry, Charlotte, and Glades counties.
