Downing-Frye Realty Inc. has hired Peggy Smith as a new sales associate in Naples.

Originally from Erie, Penn., Smith has been involved in real estate sales in Southwest Florida for more than five years. Before joining Downing-Frye Realty, Smith was a sales agent and sales manager with various real estate developments.

Smith attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she studied business. For 20 years, she was a court reporter in Pittsburgh and Naples.
