Kraft Construction Company Inc. has appointed Denise F. Young as a business development representative in its Sarasota office.

Young will be responsible for sales and marketing activities, including client management and generating new business opportunities throughout the Sarasota and Tampa Bay regions.

Kraft established a full-service Sarasota office in 1998, and has served as construction manager for 1350 Main St., the Alinari at the Renaissance, Lamarque Elementary School, Whole Foods Market Centre, North Sarasota Library and several other major projects.

Young has more than 12 years of industry-related experience. Before joining Kraft, she worked with a national consulting engineering firm.

Young serves on the Alumni Board of Leadership Tampa Bay, Associated Builders and Contractors and is also a graduate of multiple leadership programs. Her community involvement includes the Construction Committee Task Force for the Kids Charity of Tampa.

Kraft has offices in Naples, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte and Sarasota.
