Karen Papke, office manager for Westcoast Structural for the past eight years, has been promoted to the company’s vice president.

Papke will manage day-to-day operations including marketing, accounting, human resources, and networking with potential clients.

Papke has more than 23 years experience in the construction industry, including 12 years in the concrete and masonry business. Prior to joining Westcoast Structural in 2000, she worked for local companies such as Centex Rooney Construction Company, Sunshine Masonry, Brown & Root Building Company and Encorp, along with several companies in her home state of Connecticut.

Papke holds an associate degree in business management and a Lee County Concrete Contractors License. She is a member of the Lee Building Industry Association, National Association of Professional Women and KEY Group 2134.
