Joseph Gomez has joined McGarvey Development (www.mcgarveydevelopment.com) as senior vice president of leasing and property management.

Gomez will head the company’s leasing and property management departments and serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership team.

Prior to joining McGarvey Development, Gomez was principal/senior director for CBRE Investors Strategic Partners in Los Angeles.

Gomez has served in roles responsible for leasing, asset management, acquisitions and development for commercial real estate firms across the country, including Spieker Properties, Heitman Properties and Faison Associates.

Over the course of his career, he has negotiated more than 3.5 million square feet of office leases throughout major commercial real estate markets nationally.

Gomez earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master’s in real estate from the University of Wisconsin.
