Hillcrest Bank Florida (www.hcbfl.com)has named Michael R. Norris as senior vice president, senior lender.

Norris is responsible for all lending activities of the bank as well as new business development throughout South Florida.

Norris has 30 years of commercial banking and lending experience. Prior to joining Hillcrest Bank Florida, he was executive vice president, senior lender for Bank of Florida, Southwest Florida.

Before that, he was senior vice president, affiliate senior credit officer for Fifth Third Bank. Norris also held various senior positions in 20 years with Wachovia Bank.

A resident of Naples, Norris has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Stetson University in Deland. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
