Dennis Gilkey, CEO of Gilkey Organization, has been appointed to the CNLBank Southwest Florida board of directors.

Headquartered in Bonita Springs, CNLBank Southwest Florida is a state-chartered commercial bank that provides traditional commercial lending, investments and mortgage products and caters to commercial businesses and high net worth individuals.

It is a banking subsidiary of CNLBancshares, Inc., a $1.3 billion multi-bank holding company based in Orlando.

Gilkey received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Florida. Prior to founding Gilkey Organization in early 2007, he served for 23 years in senior capacities at the Bonita Bay Group companies, including nine years as its chief executive officer.

Gilkey also currently serves on the 15-member Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida, the University of Florida Center for Real Estate Studies Advisory Council, and is a member of the Florida Engineering Society.

Gilkey Organization provides land advisory and real estate development services in Southwest, North Central and Northeast Florida. The company specializes in projects that are environmentally sound and based on sustainable principles.
