Professional Building Systems president Russell Budd has been named chairman of Youth Haven‘s 2008 Annual Campaign. "This campaign is our single largest annual fundraising event," said Youth Haven executive director Ron McSwiney. "We are pleased to partner with Russell and PBS and look forward to working together to ensure the success of this annual endeavor." Last year's campaign was the agency's most successful in more than three decades of operation, surpassing the goal by 40 percent and raising a record $370,000. The bar has been raised for the 2008 campaign, with a goal of $415,000. "I believe that a strong community depends on strong families," said Budd. "In addition to the emergency shelter, Youth Haven reaches out into the community everyday through their four child abuse prevention and family strengthening programs.:
