Dave Meloney is the service manager at Preferred Air

Dave Meloney, service manager for Preferred Air (www.PreferredAir.biz), has received his certification by North American Technician Excellence Inc. (NATE) as a service technician for air conditioning equipment and systems.

NATE is an independent, third-party organization that develops and promotes excellence in the installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. The voluntary program they offer recognizes high-quality industry technicians through testing and certification.

Passing the exam means the applicant has met the industry consensus opinion on what the average technician should know in order to effectively install and service air conditioning equipment and systems.

Meloney is a 28-year resident of Naples, with a refrigeration teaching certification from Penn State and Lehigh universities. He has 35 years of experience working with air conditioning equipment and systems.

Preferred Air is a Class “A” air conditioning and heating contractor licensed with the state of Florida.
