Gora/McGahey Associates in Architecture designed the project
The Clubhouse at Somerset, a new community within The Plantation in Fort Myers, is now complete. Traditional Southern Plantation architecture as defined by Gora/McGahey Associates in Architecture (www.gora-mcgahey.com) designed the clubhouse a traditional southern plantation style. The Clubhouse at Somerset is a 30,000 square-foot structure featuring a full-service dining room and lounge, with men’s and women’s lockers, a billiard/card room, pro shop, cart storage and meeting rooms, as well as offices for golf operations and administration. Terry Gilchrist served as project manager for the amenities at The Plantation and Dan McGahey was the principal-in-charge. Pat McGuire is the construction administrator for Gora/McGahey on the projects. Balfour Beatty served as construction manager on the clubhouse. |
