Compass Construction Inc. is building a worship facility for Redeemer Lutheran Compass Construction Inc. has started building Redeemer Lutheran Church's new worship facility is underway.

The 13,644 SF project is on 8.58 acres of land on Winkler Avenue east of Veronica Shoemaker Blvd. in Fort Myers.

The one-story masonry structure will house worship space, classrooms, administrative offices, a nursery, and a cafe. Seating capacity of the sanctuary will be 259 and the classrooms will hold 140.

Extensive site work is currently in process, including site clearing and tree removal and digging of a new lake located on wetlands. Estimated cost for this project is $2.7 million.

Laura Dieter of Compass Construction will serve as project manager, Erin Olsen will be project administrator, and John Macias will serve as the on site project superintendent.

Bruce Tyson of Tyson and Billy Architects is the project architect.
