Stevens Construction finishes the expansion and renovation work on mid-rise buildings

Stevens Construction Inc. (www.stevensconstructioninc.com) has completed the expansion and renovation of Shell Point Retirement Community’s Mid-Rise Towers on its Island Campus.

The project included the addition of covered entrances to provide an outdoor living space for residents of the Turban, Lucina and Junonia buildings.

The three mid-rise buildings have new covered entrances with modern, curved aluminum sun-shade trellises. Each of the entrances features a small courtyard with new signage, brick pavers, decorative landscaping and seating areas for residents.

The Wegman Design Group worked with Christopher J. Lee Architects Inc. to design the project.

Troy Hernly of Stevens Construction was the project manager, Lenny Macari was the superintendent, and Lizette Martin was the project administrator.

This is the second Shell Point project for Stevens Construction. The company is also managing the King’s Crown Assisted Living Facility renovation currently in progress.
