Sarasota firm wins $19.6 million lawsuit PDF Print E-mail

The judgment went in favor of Tire Engineering and Distribution LLC Abel Band attorneys Jennifer B. Compton and Jason A. Collier with the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group obtained a final judgment in favor of their client Tire Engineering and Distribution, LLC, of Sarasota (d/b/a Alpha Mining Systems) in the amount of $19,658,730.

Alpha’s lawsuit claimed that a former employee, Sam Vance, who was the sales and marketing manager for the company for many years until May 2005, misappropriated Alpha’s trade secrets and provided them to companies in China and Dubai..
