DeAngelis Diamond Construction Inc. is doing the work

Naples-based DeAngelis Diamond Construction Inc. has started construction on the 144-room Hyatt Place Hotel in Sarasota.

The design includes a glass entrance feature, kitchen, dining room, lobby, pool, spa and outdoor amenities.

The $9.5 million project should be completed early next year.

DeAngelis Diamond Construction’s key team members on this project are: Norm Gentry, vice president/principal; Dan Wilson, estimator; Kelly Pope, project manager; and Steve McKenna, superintendent.
