Starbucks and CNBC News open at the Sarasota airport, which just completed Phase I of the project The Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority (SMAA) has completed of Phase I of the retail, food and beverage upgrades at SRQ with the opening of Starbucks Coffee and CNBC News shops on the concourse.

Phase II will begin in May with completion in December. Phase II includes full upgrades of the airport restaurant and the two retail shops on the second floor of the main terminal.

A Dunkin’ Donuts will be added in the main terminal. The “High Tides” bar and restaurant on the concourse will also be upgraded at that time.

The total cost of completing Phase I and II of the project will be $3.85 million with $1.8 million from HMS Host, $1.55 million from Paradies Shops and $500,000 from SMAA.
