The shutters were part of a $369,000 project awarded by the Lee County School

Rolsafe (www.Rolsafe.com) of Fort Myers has completed installation of motorized hurricane shutters at Cypress Lake High School.

The shutters were part of a $369,000 project awarded by the Lee County School District to Naples-based Bradanna Inc. for construction of a new concession building and four tennis courts.

The Fort Myers school suffered damage from Hurricane Charley. The storm cracked brick walls and forced the school district to authorize demolition of the school’s gymnasium and construction of a new one.

The concession facility was designed and built to Florida building code, which requires hurricane protection for windows, including impact-resistant glass or hurricane shutters.
