The newly established Perlman Music Program/Sarasota Inc. (www.perlmanmusicprogramsarasota.org) has hired Elizabeth Power as its executive director.

Power was formerly on staff at the Florida West Coast Symphony.

The new board of directors will be led by Dr. Peter French, chairman, and vice chairs Dottie Baer Garner and David Klein, with Susan Coyne serving as secretary and Michael Shelton as treasurer.

Other members of the board are Alan Ades, John Cavanaugh, Rodger DeRose, Marty Fine, Victoria Leopold, Jules Rose, Barbara Staton, John Sullivan, John Wilkes and Sally Yanowitz.
