Nina Mason purchased ownership from Dan Layel and Gilbert Landry

Community Electric of Collier Inc., a locally owned and operated electrical contractor, has announced that longtime partner Nina Mason has purchased ownership of the company from partners Dan Layel and Gilbert Landry.

No operational changes are anticipated, and both Layel and Landry will remain involved with the company in a consulting capacity.

Founded in 1972, Naples-based Community Electric provides an array of services, from commercial, industrial and residential wiring to repairs.

Its large-scale projects include high-rise and mid-rise condominiums, medical centers, banks, schools, office buildings, restaurants, hotels, and street lighting.

Mason has been employed with the company since 1990 and jointly acquired ownership from the original founders in 1996.

Also joining the team is Carl “Sonny” Mason, who has been in the construction industry for 36 years. He will be involved with sales and day-to-day operations of the company.
