They’ve designed millions of square feet of office and residential space over the years, and now, Architectural Network Inc. (ANI) (www.archnetinc.com) has taken the first step in the construction of its new headquarters.

“This is a great day for all of us. We’ve worked hard to get to this point,” said Rey Pezeshkan of ANI. The new two-story building will have nearly 10,000 square feet of space. Construction is expected to be completed in the Spring 2008.

The building will be on Goodlette-Frank Road, just north of Golden Gate Parkway in Naples.

The array of services that ANI and its sister companies offer to their clients are being put to use for the company’s own building. ANI is the architect, while PK Naples LLC., the construction arm, is the general contractor. Interior Design Network is the interior designer for the building, while Information Technology Network is the technology designer. Urban Planning Network oversaw the acquisition of the land and planning while the Graphics Division handles the renderings and illustrations for the building. Landscape Architecture Network is creating the building’s landscape design.

The new building will feature several green components, including its landscape plan, the recycling of materials, natural materials, low-flow appliances to minimize water use, the use of natural light to reduce electricity use and a reclaimed irrigation system.
