Orbeco-Hellige buys 15,000-square-foot facility in Parkland Center

Long Island manufacturer Orbeco-Hellige is relocating to Manatee County, according to Nancy Engel, executive director of the Economic Development Council of Manatee.

The U.S. subsidiary of Tintometer GmbH of Germany, Orbeco-Hellige (www.orbeco.com) designs, produces and markets instruments and kits for testing water and wastewater.

Orbeco-Hellige Inc. purchased a 15,000-square-foot facility in Parkland Center and plans to hire at least eight employees locally.

Operations at the Manatee County facility are expected to begin this fall.
