Two more McKibbon Hotel Management Inc. (www.mckibbon.com) properties have earned the Florida Green Lodge designation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

They are the Courtyard by Marriott Sarasota Bradenton and the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Sarasota Bradenton. The honors mark the seventh and eighth McKibbon properties to receive the designation.

The Florida Green Lodging Program was launched in 2004 to establish environmental guidelines for conservation and clean air in the hospitality industry. Certification is based on water and energy conservation, waste minimization, recycling, indoor air quality, environmentally-preferable purchasing, pollution prevention and program sustainability.
