Sales for the Feb. 26 event have reached 50 percent Half of the tickets for the 2008 News-Press Market Watch on Feb. 26 have been sold.
The program will feature industry experts presenting an overview and forecast of the local economy, complete with the most updated 2007 statistics. Emotions, opinions and speculation are not factored into their research; only hard facts will be presented to most successfully predict the future of Southwest Florida.

The News-Press Market Watch will be held at the Harborside Event Center in the Fort Myers River District. It will begin with networking at 5:30 p.m., and a dinner and presentation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Denny Grimes, president of Denny Grimes & Company, will use his 25 years of real estate experience to analyze the residential market trends of 2007 and make predictions for 2008. Grimes is a columnist for The News-Press, and a nationally recognized, award-winning residential expert.

Stan Stouder, a founding partner with CB Richard Ellis Fort Myers-Naples, will present emerging trends and analysis of where values are heading for office, retail and industrial real estate. Stouder, a Florida-licensed real estate broker and Certified Commercial Investment Member, has nearly 25 years of experience as a commercial real estate professional.

Tickets are now available at www.MarketWatch2008.com . General open seating tickets for The News-Press Market Watch are $65 per person. Premium seating tables of ten seats are available for $695 and reserved tables of eight seats are available for $600.
