The Manatee EDC will host an interactive panel discussion next month to help businesses and communities find success in a competitive global economy.

Local CEOs of Beall's, Mercedes Medical, Sun Hydraulics, CEO Nexus, Moran Stahl & Boyer and the Pasco Economic Development Council will speak.

Patricia Scruggs will present the 2008 Economic Performance Update for Manatee County.

The event will be on Friday, Aug. 15 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbor, 7515 Grand Harbor Parkway in Bradenton. The $45 cost includes full breakfast.
