A key finding shows 50 percent believe their industry is in worse shape than last year

The Manatee County Economic Development Council has released the results of its second annual Business Climate Survey.

A key finding in the survey reports that 50 percent believe their industry is in worse shape than last year, compared to less than 35 percent of respondents in 2007.

The online survey was completed by 122 of 600 Manatee County businesses invited to participate. Complete survey results are available at www.ManateeEDC.com.
