Building pros between the ages of 21 and 40 are invited to the meeting on Tuesday

The Lee Building Industry Association’s Young Building Professionals Council will address the effects of legislation on the market at a meeting on Tuesday.

Building professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 are invited.

Guest speakers Michael Reitmann, executive officer of the Lee BIA, and Richard Durling, past president of the Lee BIA and the Florida Home Builders Association, will lead the discussion.

The goal of the Lee BIA’s Young Building Professionals Council is to encourage young business leaders to take a pivotal role by getting involved in their community and industry. The council serves to educate its members on business and political issues involving the building industry.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Royal Palm Yacht Club, 2360 W. First St., Fort Myers. The cost is $25 for Lee BIA members and $30 for nonmembers. For more information, call 936-5525.
