The Manatee chamber launches the program at an event later this month

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce will kickoff to its new green business initiative on May 28 with a program called “Going Green . . . What Does It Really Mean? (to your business and community)?”

Keynote speakers include Sen. Mike Bennett, a sponsor of energy and environmental legislation, and Gerald “Jerry” Karnas, executive director of Florida Climate Project for Environmental Defense.
