Dennis B. Murphy has joined Gateway Bank of Southwest Florida as vice president and commercial lender.

He previously worked at Regions Bank in Sarasota as commercial credit analyst.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of South Florida.

Gateway Bank recently received final regulatory approval, clearing the way to open this month.
