McGarvey Development has extended its Salvation Army food drive through Aug. 8.

The public is invited to bring donations between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to the first floor lobby at 9530 Marketplace Road in Fort Myers.

Suggested donations include non-perishable food, canned goods, baby food, diapers and inexpensive can openers.

McGarvey Development officials will transport the donations to the Salvation Army office on Edison Avenue.
